About Me
I am an Australian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon practising in Sydney, with special interests in hip replacement and revision hip replacement surgery, knee replacement and revision knee replacement surgery, sports knee injuries, and complex lower limb and acetabular trauma.
I believe in taking time with my patients to help them understand their orthopaedic problem and formulate a management plan suitable for their needs.
I am registered with all health funds in Australia. I am also appointed at Westmead Public Hospital for patients that do not have health insurance.
Hip
I have completed subspecialty training in hip replacement and revision hip replacement surgery and also complex hip fracture surgery. I embrace new technologies that have been proven to improve patient outcomes, including computer navigation and customised implants.
Knee
I treat meniscus tears, ACL ruptures, PCL ruptures and collateral ligament injuries.
I am also an experienced knee replacement and revision knee replacement surgeon. I am particularly interested in new technologies that have been introduced to improve patient satisfaction after their joint replacement.
Trauma
I have subspecialty training in complex trauma, including the management of acetabular (hip socket) fractures. I am appointed at Westmead Public Hospital, one of the busiest trauma centres in Australia, where I manage challenging, high energy injuries.
