About Me

I am an Australian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon practising in Sydney. My areas of interest include sports knee injuries, knee replacement and revision replacement surgery, hip replacement and lower limb trauma.

I believe in taking time with my patients to help them understand their orthopaedic problem and formulate a management plan suitable for their needs.

I am registered with all health funds in Australia and participate in known gap schemes. I am also appointed at Westmead Public Hospital for patients that do not have health insurance.

Hip

I have completed subspecialty training in hip replacement and revision hip replacement surgery and also complex hip fracture surgery. I embrace new technologies that have been proven to improve patient outcomes, including computer navigation and customised implants.

Knee

I treat meniscus tears, ACL ruptures, PCL ruptures and collateral ligament injuries.

I am also an experienced knee replacement and revision knee replacement surgeon. I am particularly interested in new technologies that have been introduced to improve patient satisfaction after their joint replacement.

Trauma

I have subspecialty training in complex trauma, including the management of acetabular (hip socket) fractures. I am appointed at Westmead Public Hospital, one of the busiest trauma centres in Australia, where I manage challenging, high energy injuries.
